Says: The other day Cooper went down to the basement and was playing while I was doing some chores. He took out his drum set and started playing and yelled up to me “Come on down momma! I’m having a song competition!”
I put him down for his nap, and he was having trouble falling asleep. There was a sound outside and he came out of his room and said “a sound just woke me up. I was having a nice peaceful rest and it woke me up.”
For school, we have to pack his lunches. For dessert he always gets 6 yogurt raisins (I don’t want to give him a ton of dessert because obviously he would just eat all that instead of his actual lunch). He said “one day daddy gave me 7 yogurt raisins. Good thing I told you. If daddy puts in 10 or 100 again I will say no and you are under arrest.”
Eating his ice cream soup.
Reading stories with daddy.
On Sunday morning, we were changing the batteries in Cooper’s flashlights (he sleeps with one next to him). He wanted to throw the batteries in the trash, and I told him that we had to can’t throw batteries in the trash and we have to recycle them (we have a battery recycling thing at work). So he wanted to go to my office to drop them off (worked out well because I needed to pick up something from my office). Cooper had fun checking out my new desk (I moved to a new cube a couple months ago) and playing with my Professional Engineer stamps.
Sunday night we went to my parent’s house for a Vietnamese-themed party.
Randoms: The spring blooms are coming out! the trees look gorgeous! I hope the snow doesn’t come again and knock off all the blooms.
Sunrise from our room. Beautiful!
