We had a great Christmas.
Dominika and Derek flew in from San Francisco. Thursday we spent the day decorating gingerbread houses. My parents have saved the ones from past years so we had quite the collection.
Thursday night we had a delicious crab dinner.
Once Cooper found out that we were having crab legs for dinner, he walked around the house pretending to be a crab and pinching everyone with his claws.
We all tried cleaning the crab legs. When Kirk came home from work, he took over the cleaning duties and used his impressive lobster cleaning skills to do a much better job.
Saturday we had the traditional Polish Wigilia dinner with 12 meatless dishes.
So excited for presents!
After dinner, Santa came for a visit. Santa brought small presents for everyone, which Cooper helped unwrap since he’s a present unwrapping machine.
On the way home, we stopped by our favorite decorated house and took some pictures.
We left cookies and milk for Santa and carrots and reindeer food for the reindeer.
Christmas morning, we woke up and opened more presents that Santa left at our house.
In the afternoon, we went to my parents’ house for Christmas dinner.
