Says: We were talking about meeting Santa and Cooper said “I will ask Santa for just one more thing. I will ask him for some basement stuff. Like a light bulb. A magic light bulb. It will turn the earth bigger. And the north pole will fly off into outer space.”
We were putting up our Christmas decorations and Cooper asked what the stocking was. I told him that if Santa brings big presents he puts them under the tree and if he has small presents he will put them in his stocking. Cooper said “Oh well Santa said he is bringing me a helicopter and a big surprise so both will go under the tree and I don’t need the stocking.”
We were doing our Christmas cards and Cooper was in charge of closing the envelops and putting on the stickers on the back. About halfway through he stopped and said “whew, I’m tired of hard work. I need a banana.” He ate the banana and said “ok now I have enough energy to finish my job.”
The next day he helped my parents with their cards and said “ok guys let’s get to work. We have lots to do!”
Hard at work while we hang the TV in the basement.
We also celebrated my birthday this week. Cooper was a great help in blowing out my candles. And let me have the first cake because “the birthday person gets the first piece of cake, right mama?”
