Says: This past weekend I had to travel for work. Sunday night when I came home Cooper said “here, let me unpack your suitcase.” Then he started taking out my clothes and as he pulled out each piece he said “boring, boring, boring, boring. Why did you put so much boring stuff in here?
Before I left, he took my work ID out and said “Here – test your badge and see how it looks. Oh, it’s a nice fit.”
He has been pointing out speed limits and will say “don’t go faster than four five mom! You don’t want to go to jail.”
Then we were driving in the neighborhood and he saw the 25 speed limit sign and said “wow that’s fast.” I told him that 45 was actually faster and asked him “which is bigger, 2 or 4?” And his response was “10 is bigger.”
He saw the moon the other day while we were driving somewhere in the evening (when it was still light) and he said “that naughty moon. He always comes out before night time.”
We put our Halloween decorations up and, once again, Cooper’s favorite is the giant spiders he calls “spidey” and says “he’s my friend.” He slept with spidey one night and likes brought him in the next morning to wake us up. One night there was a really nice sunset, and Cooper said “wow, that’s a beautiful sunset. I want to show my friend spidey”
Does: The basement is coming along and almost finished. Cooper has been busy sweeping up construction dust, organizing his toy closet, and inspecting the new window wells.
We had a fall festival at our library and Cooper had fun dressing up in his Halloween costume, collecting candy, and playing games. Here he is playing a life sized version of Hungry Hippo.
While I was gone, Cooper and Kirk went to the pumpkin festival and had a lot of fun. Cooper loved the maze and did it a bunch of times again this year. Unfortunately, after nap that day he woke up with a stomach bug and threw up. Poor guy!
