We went to Mexico a week ago. We had such a great time. Cooper had so much fun on the beach and the pool. He’s been taking swimming lessons at least once a week for the past 6 months and he’s did great. He loved jumping in the pool, diving under the water for his toys, and swimming around. He still needs to work on being more scared of deeper water that he can’t quite swim in (this kid has no fear about anything), but he’s made such great improvements.
He got to sit in the cockpit on both flights. On the way down, when he went to go say hi to the pilot, he told him “Nice landing. But it was a little bumpy.”
When we were walking back to the hotel room one night after dinner, Cooper said “Mom, see the polka dots in the sky? Those are stars.”
When we were trying to fall asleep one night, he said “mom and dad be quiet. You don’t want to wake up the ants.”
After an unsuccessful nap one day, Cooper said “Can I get up now? I rested and have all kinds of energy.”
Cooper loved the animals at the hotel. There were people that brought them around the hotel and you could take pictures with them. Of course you had to buy the pictures from them and weren’t allowed to use your own camera, but there was a couple really cute ones of him. Cooper loved the parrot and couldn’t stop telling people that he held the parrot like a baby.
