Says: Cooper made some treats at daycare this week. He wanted to make them at home again. I told him that I didn’t know how to make them. He said “I know mommy. I will tell you. You need butter. Lots of butter. You need sugar. You need chocolate. It comes from chocolate milk. You need white milk and chocolate milk. And you put crackers in and mix it and mix it and mix it and make reindeer treats.”
He was playing with some play-doh and putting it in this machine that squeezes it through and makes shapes. He said “Bye bye play-doh. See you when you come out.”
We have an advent calendar with little treats inside. Every afternoon when we get home, he gets to open the treat for the day. We were coming home the other day and my hands were full of groceries. Cooper wanted to open his treat, and I told him to weight because my hands were full. He said “But my hands are empty so I need a treat to hold.”
Cooper and Kirk had a boys date on Sunday night because I had to travel for work. They went to their favorite BBQ place. When Kirk told Cooper where they were going, Cooper said “Oh I remember that place! We get ice cream after.”
Does: It’s so funny to me what he comes up with to play. He took his airport set, his musical nutcracker, some fish from his kitchen (since he was pretending to be a kitty) and put it all in this bin and took it by the Christmas tree to play.
We went sledding this week and Cooper had so much fun! He is such a dare devil. He wanted to down a certain part of the hill, and I said it was too steep and there was a big jump over there. He said “It sounds fun, let’s go over there and go super fast.”
