The past few weeks have been busy with lots of Christmas activities.
The first weekend in December, Cooper saw Santa twice in one day. In the morning, he went up to the mountains with my parents to pick out their Christmas tree (click here for last year).
Later that day, we went into my office to see Santa. He told Santa that he wanted “presents” for Christmas. Santa told him that he would go back to the North Pole and work on that, and Cooper pointed to the presents already under the tree and said that he would just take one of those. Later he decided that he wanted a fire truck.
This past weekend was another busy one. Saturday we had brunch at Cassie and Chad’s house and Cooper loved chasing around their dog. Then in the evening, we went to the symphony with my parents. Kirk and I had his office holiday party that night, so we got a hotel room. We all went down a little earlier to check into the hotel room and then took the light rail to the symphony. Cooper was so excited about riding on the train.
We met my parents at the symphony. Cooper only made it to intermission, but that’s not bad for a wiggly almost three year old. He went home to stay the night with my parents, and Kirk and I went to the party.
Sunday we went to the Polish Club for Wigilia. He had fun playing with all the kids and dancing. Then at the end of the night, Santa came. Cooper was so excited to see Santa again. As soon as Santa sat down, Cooper ran up to him and wanted to sit on his lap. But he had to wait his turn until all the kids before him got their chance. He left with a huge bag of Polish goodies.
