Says: While we were in Mexico, Cooper usually took a quick shower to get sand and seawater off before he napped. One day when Kirk was putting him down he said “I want a quick power shower.”
I was making a sand castle with him and he said “Gosh Gracious. That’s a scary castle.”
We were listening to a saxophone player in the lobby of our hotel and Cooper was walking around with his stuffed monkey. He said “Monkey says ‘wow I don’t like that horn.'”
While in Mexico, I was changing his diaper at the changing station. I had on a swim suit and cover up. I took off my cover up to put under his head since the changing station is kind of hard. Cooper said “Mom Put your dress back on. No one wants to see you naked.” LOL.
On the way back to the airport, Cooper noticed a big radio tower out the window and said “I saw the Eiffel Tower. It’s so very very tall!”
After we got home, we went to the Santa Day at my office. We went up to my cube after we saw Santa, and when he saw my cube he asked “Where is the money?” I am guessing that my parents and his daycare lady tell him that I have to go to work to make money, so he was wondering where it all was.
Then on Monday morning after Santa Day, I dropped him off at my parent’s house and he said “You go to your meeting with Santa.” I think he thinks I work with Santa now.
I was telling him that at daycare the next day he could tell all his friends all about Mexico, about the beach and the ocean and the pool. And Cooper said “And the drinks! I will tell her about the baby monkey. That is the good milk not the yucky milk.” (Cooper didn’t like the plain milk in Mexico). He loved getting his Baby Monkey’s from the bar – and always needed 3 or more drinks at a time.
We were watching a favorite show of his with Curious George and a guy called No Noggin (a kind of scarecrow without a head – it’s one that he liked to watch around Halloween). No Noggin is supposed to kick the hats off people’s heads. Cooper said “He will kick the hat but he can’t say I’m sorry because he has no face.”
