Sleeps: Still struggling this week and it’s hit or miss. Some days he will stay in his crib and other days he just wants to get out and run around. And it doesn’t matter what time we start bath/bedtime, but he’s been falling asleep at like 9:30 which means he sleeps really late in the morning.
Says: I wasn’t really good about writing stuff down this week, but I noticed that Cooper is actually saying “Cooper” instead of “Pooper” when we ask his name. So the pediatrician didn’t lie! We didn’t need to tell him that he was pronouncing it wrong, he would just self correct as soon as his mouth could say the words. Now if we could only get him to pronounce “thank you” correctly I would be happy. I mean the kid can say “telescopic forklift” and all sorts of other complicated things, but still doesn’t pronounce “thank you” correctly.
He was playing in his room with his fire truck and he put the ladder up on my foot and said “the fireman climbs up up up” and the whole time he was moving his fingers up towards me. Then he said “and then he gives you a hug” and he gave me a hug. It was really cute.
Social and Activity: This weekend my parent’s had a party which had some fireworks, and of course Cooper loved them. Don’t be confused by this picture, he did think the sparkler was great. This was just right after we lit it so he was a bit confused. In true Cooper fashion, as soon as this one went out he say “I want more fireworks please!”
Than you Hania for this picture of Cooper and me!
