Health: He had a little stuffy nose/cough the first few days in Mexico, and then got sick on the car ride home from the airport.
Says: We were driving the other day and saw two school buses – one big one and one small one. Cooper said “Mama school bus and baby school bus.”
Cooper still wants me and only me to read stories. One day Kirk was going to read stories and Cooper said “Daddy, go downstairs. Enjoy your dinner. Mommy read stories.”
Cooper had his little suitcase out and said “I’m a pack my suitcase. Put clothes in it. And put lotions in it.”
While Cooper and I were sharing a room in Mexico, I would put him down to sleep and go sit outside for a little while and read and relax and then come back in. One day I was just so tired and went to lay down as soon as I put him down. Cooper said “Mommy, I need more milk please.” I said “Cooper, I’m sleeping.” Cooper: “I sorry mommy. Police give a ticket.” Me: “Why Cooper?” Cooper: “For waking up mommy.”
Cooper was digging in the sand and I asked him if he was pretending to be a bulldozer. He said “I’m a mini excavator.”
We were relaxing by the bar drinking our morning coffee/smoothies. Some guy walks by and Cooper said “Hi Daddy.” I said “That’s not daddy.” He looks at me and says “He’s somebody’s daddy.”
We were talking about our bellies one morning and putting food in them. Cooper said “Cooper have a small belly. Mommy have a big belly.” Thanks Cooper. More sit-ups for me.
Walking to breakfast one day at the hotel, Cooper gets surrounded by coati and says “Oh me gosh. So many coati.”
Not only was Cooper saying gracias to everyone but he also started saying “dziękuję” (thank you in Polish) too.
Does: He has been having many more temper tantrums. He knows what he wants and will get upset if you don’t give it to him.
