I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. We had so much fun celebrating Cooper’s 2nd Christmas. Dominika and DH were in town for a few days, and it was so nice to have them around.
Cooper loves helping in the kitchen. He loves to mix and cook and taste everything. Here he is helping babcia cook traditional Polish potato salad.
On Christmas Eve, we made some gingerbread houses. Cooper tried to help but just wanted to eat all the candy. So my sister ended up doing most of the houses
And just the boys.
And then after dinner Santa showed up! Cooper was hesitant to see Santa and didn’t really want to say hi to him or go up to him. As soon as Santa left Cooper said “lock the door!” but he sure did love playing with the presents Santa brought. He did a much better job this year of opening his presents this year and actually had fun with it.
His favorite present of the night was this blender/mixer/coffee maker set. All the appliances make noise and spin and Cooper just loved them. He played with it for about 2 hours!!! He also got some motorized cars, and some stuffed animals.
We did Christmas morning at our house, just the three of us. Cooper got a beautiful play kitchen, lots of play food and pots and pans, and a toy helicopter.
Here daddy – open this for me.
Too busy playing with his kitchen to get in the family picture.
I made snowman pancakes and of course he ate the chocolate chips off the pancakes first. This is the smile I got when I said “say cheese.”
We went to Christmas Day dinner at a family friend’s house.
Cooper loved their dogs but I think he was too high energy for them. They just wanted to rest and Cooper just wanted to be near them.
Cooper also love this Santa that danced and played music. As soon as he figured it out, he went and grabbed everyone and wanted everyone to dance with him. “Come on everybody! Dancing!”
After dinner, he just wanted to play with his blender again.
