Sorry for the lack of posts recently! We were on vacation in Mexico and then Christmas happened and there has just been no time. I have lots of posts planned to recap the past few weeks.
Eats: Cooper’s favorite things to eat on vacation were guacamole and jello (not together).
Says: Every day Cooper learns more and more and puts together more and more words. Most outside people still have trouble understanding the majority of what he says, but we can understand almost all of it. He can express himself better each day. He is starting to tell me stories about what happened during the day (especially when someone falls or bumps themselves). He makes me laugh about a hundred times a day with all the adorable things he says.
Likes and Dislikes: Right before vacation, we went to go get the emissions done on my car. I thought it would be a boring errand, but how wrong I was! He loves all the honking and fans and lights. And now he asks to go do emissions a few times a week.
During vacation, he loved playing in the sand and near the water – but didn’t really like getting in the water as much this time. I don’t know if it was because the water was colder than in May, or if it was because he was a little scared. Either way, he was much more hesitant and just preferred to play right at the edge. The last day of vacation though, we couldn’t get him out of the water!
Social and Activity: While in Mexico, Cooper made lots of friends with the other kids at the resort. He had no shortage of playmates!
We kept his hair long in Mexico to help protect his head against sun burns (since he won’t wear a hat), but afterwards it was time for another haircut!
