This week’s post is going to be short and sweet. We leave for Canada today to visit the in-laws. We have a 9(!!!!) hour layover in Toronto on the way there, so hopefully that goes well. Then Cooper and I will fly back next week while Kirk spends some extra time with his family. Wish us luck on our trip! I am not really looking forward to the flights with my very active toddler – but we’ll do the best we can. Worse comes to worse it’s not like I have to see the people on the flights again 😉
Health: Just the last little bit of his stuffy nose, but it’s pretty much gone now. I’m sure he will catch something on the planes we will be on though!
Sleeps: Things were great this past week. Since we are traveling this coming week, and we will be 3 time zones away, I’m not really sure what will happen to his sleep. I’m bringing his blanket and his favorite stuffed animal so at least he feels a little more comfortable in a strange environment.
Eats: This week he has been all about his yogurt sticks. He loves them frozen! Who doesn’t love something cold on a hot day?
Says: His words are really exploding. I feel like every day he can express himself more and more. He’s combing two words more and more often.
Likes and Dislikes: Loves opening and closing doors. Again and again and again. And the vacuum. He wants to vacuum things all the time.
Social and Activity: This weekend we got a haircut for Cooper. After the last expeirence of screaming and not getting all his haircut and me having to finish up cutting his bangs at home (and not doing a great job at it), we took him to a new place in hopes that it would go better. The new place had cars and toys and movies so he was totally distracted the whole time. He did great and hardly complained!
