Stats: 25 lbs 3 oz. And he is official 1 1/2 years old today! Happy half birthday Cooper!!
Sleeps: He has been doing so wonderfully!!!! He hasn’t gotten up at night in over a week. His naps this weekend were a little shorter than usual, but I’ll take the sleeping through the night!
Eats: It’s hit or miss depending on the day. Some days he’ll eat everything. Other days he doesn’t want much. But he is overall an adventurous eater. He loves ketchup on anything. And he especially loves ice and popsicles.
Says: He is now saying “mom” instead of “ma.”
Social and Activity: My sister and her husband here in town this week so Cooper got to spend lots of time with his aunt and uncle. It’s amazing how much he’s grown since they saw him last in January.
This weekend we went to Cooper’s first Tumble Tots class (toddler gymnastics). But the class was cancelled since we were the only people that signed up. The lady was so apologetic, and she offered to let Cooper go during the week for free. So on Tuesday, my mom (and sister) took Cooper to his first tumbling class and he loved it!
Weekly Random Moments: In some non-Cooper related news, Sunday Kirk and DH went biking in the mountains while the rest of the family hung out at the parent’s house. They had a great time – except that Kirk had a fall on one of the downhill courses. He fractured his right wrist and probably a few of his ribs too. So, it’s going to be a long healing process. He’s got a splint on his wrist, but nothing can be done for the ribs. It’s a lot of rest right now. And no carrying Cooper around or wrestling with Cooper.
Watching leftover fireworks from the 4th of July. (You can see the makeshift splint on Kirk’s right arm – he got a better one when he saw the hand surgeon on Tuesday).
We set up his slide to go in his pool – and he surprisingly didn’t love it. Oh well!
