This weekend I went to visit my sister in San Francisco. It was such a fun time! I hadn’t been there in a couple of years, so it was nice to be back. And it was nice to have some adult time with my sister since Cooper was at home with Kirk. I did miss them like crazy though.
We ate at so many yummy places, did some shopping, and did a little site seeing. I really lucked out because the weather was beautiful all weekend!
I love the funny little car that parks outside my sister’s house.
We visited the community garden in her neighborhood.
This is artichoke blooming. I never knew how an artichoke grew!
We went for a hike in Pacifica.
We happened to be downtown running some errands during the Pride Parade. Downtown was absolute madness, but it was interesting to see everyone dressed up in crazy outfits.
Look at this cool art – it’s the display at a hardware store downtown and it was made of duct tape. There were a few others, but this one was my favorite.
Pretty view of the bay bridge all lit up at night.
The only bummer of the week was D’s car getting broken while we were at dinner on Friday night. Luckily it was pretty easy and relatively cheap to fix.
