Health: Cooper’s rash is getting a little better each day – but it’s still there. I know he’s not uncomfortable, but it just doesn’t look good 😦 Poor guy. Another mom at Cooper’s day care said that she got the same rash a few years ago and some of the spots never totally went away. Hopefully they go away on him eventually.
He also has been having a stuffy nose this week because it’s allergy season here!
Sleeps: Still not great – but we are slowly getting back on track.
Eats: This week Cooper has been all about feeding himself. He even ate last night’s dinner all by himself with his spoon and fork! He wants to eat less and less purees and more and more “grown up” food. He is an excellent eater and will eat veggies without any problems!
Says: No new words this week – but he has been all about saying “hi” and “this” this week.
Does: Cooper loves doing anything that we are doing! If Kirk is mowing the lawn, Cooper will help. If I am watering the flowers, he wants to water some with his bucket. He tries to help with laundry and help put things away. He loves being helpful.
Social and Activity: He is really doing well at daycare. He has always really liked being there (even though morning drop offs can sometimes be tough), and he is learning so much just being around other kids his age and older. He is starting to join the big kids (2-3 year olds) when they play and does really well. The other day when I was picking him up he did not want to go home. He was so upset – he just kept wanting to play. That is a definite first!
He has also been going to story time at the library with babcia and dziadek. The first day didn’t go so well, but he is enjoying it and I think it’s helping him to learn to sit still every once in a while (since he’s usually just go go go all the time).
