Stats: His official stats from the pediatrician’s appointment:
- Weight: 22 lbs. 12 oz. (50th percentile)
- Height: 31.75 inches (75th percentile)
- Head Size: 46.6 cm (30th percentile)
Health: Poor Cooper’s seasonal allergies have started this week. His nose has been running no stop. There isn’t much that we can do though – so it’s just saline drops, saline drops, saline drops.
We also got his hemoglobin checked at his appointment and it’s in the normal range (12.6). So we will keep giving him the iron drops!
Sleeps: Sleep has been great this week. I feel like we are turning a corner with his nighttime sleeping!! He’s still napping once a day for about 2 hours.
Eats: Cooper’s favorite thing this week has been string cheese and of course any kind of pasta. He loves berries and all sorts of fruits. He does good with veggies. He’s still such a good eater – there are no complaints from me.
Says: Cooper is starting to say a few Polish words too. He says “da” for “daj” (which means “give me” in Polish). He also says “ma” for “nie ma” (which means “nothing is there” in Polish).
Does: While Cooper does make big messes, he also does like to put things away. He is great about putting things away on his bookshelf or in his toy basket. He also loves arranging things all over this room. He will stack up his books and stuffed animals “just so.” It’s really cute to watch him make decisions.
He also loves playing hide n seek. The other day, I was getting out of the shower and he was playing in the bathroom with me. He leaves the bathroom and goes into the bedroom and starts playing with some toys. Then I don’t hear anything for a few minutes so I go to try and find him, because anyone who has toddlers knows silence=trouble. And look who is patiently hiding for a couple minutes waiting for me to find him!!
Social and Activity: We went to the Easter Egg hunt this weekend.
Milestones: SO MANY TEETH THIS WEEK!! He got a new one up front, and one on the left side. But there are so many others that are just so close to popping through.
Weekly Random Moments: Spring is here so it means yard work for everyone! This year Cooper tried to help a little bit. Mostly he liked playing with the water. In case you can’t tell, he’s soaked. But he didn’t seem to mind!
