Happy St. Patrick’s Day. We brought home these chocolate coins for Cooper to play with. He didn’t quite know what to make of them – until he figured out what was inside!!
Stats: I forgot to do a weigh in yesterday – but I’m guessing he is the same weight as last week since he had the stomach flu.
Health: Poor Cooper had a little bit of the stomach flu over the weekend. He wasn’t throwing up often – once every other day – but it lasted for 5 days. It always breaks my heart when he doesn’t feel good. But as of yesterday – he is feeling great and is back to normal!
Sleeps: With the stomach bug he caught, his sleep at night has been a little disrupted. Hopefully we will be back on track this week. There was one day that he got up at 4:30 and refused to go back down. He was wide awake and all he wanted to do was play. So I just went into his room and sat in his chair while he played for a bit. After about an hour he wanted to go back to sleep. Luckily once he did go down, he slept for 3 more hours so Kirk and I got some extra sleep.
Eats: We are really lucky. Cooper is a fantastic eater. He is adventurous and will try most anything. At least for now 🙂
Does: I’m going to brag a bit about how smart Cooper I think is. He can point out all sorts of things when we ask him to. He has this wonderful little book filled with pictures of things. Yesterday we were sitting down with him and he could point out almost everything on the cover of the book. We would say “Cooper – where is the doggy?” and he would point to the dog. It went on and on. Smart little dude. He also LOVES pointing out people’s belly buttons. He tries to lift up your shirt and stick his finger in. And he loves it when you laugh when he does it.
He learns so many new things every day and it’s amazing.
Social and Activity: This weekend we took Cooper to the nearby airport to look at planes take off. I thought he would love it since he loves pointing out planes in the sky – but he wasn’t into it. Probably because he still wasn’t feeling great. Monday he stayed home from day care and went to babcia and dziadek’s instead. On Tuesday when he went to daycare, he was so excited to play with all his friends! Usually there are a few tears when I drop him off, but he was all smiles.
Weekly Random Moments: Spring is in the air and we have been playing outside A LOT!
I love this picture. He looks like such a little boy running after this ball.
Too bad he’s out of focus in this one. It’s great!
