Stats: 21 lbs. 10 oz. No real change since last week – but I swear he’s taller! All of his 12 month tops are getting to be pretty tight. I might have to buy some 18 month ones soon. 12 month pants still fit well.
Health: Cooper started to get a rash on Saturday. It was all over his body – small red bumps on his chest and back. And then it spread to his legs too. He didn’t have a fever, it didn’t itch or make him uncomfortable, and he seemed just fine. But it was kind of concerning that it wouldn’t go away. We went to the doctor today and she told us that it’s a reaction to his measles vaccine a few weeks ago (it can take a few weeks to manifest itself) and it will probably last 7-10 days. At least it’s nothing that’s making him uncomfortable!
Sleeps: Doing really well at night (just up once around 4:30 or 5 to feed him and then he will sleep another couple of hours). He takes one nap in the middle of the day – it’s very easy to put him down – but he doesn’t always sleep well. He will sleep anywhere from 30 minutes to 2.5 hours. Usually it’s around 1.5 hours.
Eats: He didn’t have much of an appetite for a few days – but then other days he will eat anything and everything. He loves holding a spoon or fork and tries to use it.
Says: I think Cooper can say yes (ya) and no (na).
Likes and Dislikes: Loves taking things in the house and relocating them. It’s like hide-n-seek every day! He loves the snow but hates getting bundled up.
Social and Activity: Cooper had a blast at the Super Bowl party. Too bad the Broncos lost so horribly. At least he looked cute with his temporary tattoo and jersey.
Milestones: He’s doing so awesome at walking around. He is getting really good at bending over and picking something up off the floor instead of going down on his knees to pick it up.
Isn’t this beach set adorable? Too bad Cooper would never sit still long enough to enjoy it. And too bad it’s so expensive.
