Weight: 21 lbs. 2 oz.
Clothes: Still mostly 12 month tops/bodysuits and pants. Size 4 diapers.
Health: We took Cooper to the doctor late last week because of a cough he has been having since he was sick a few weeks ago. He doesn’t cough all the time, but every once in a while he will get a rattle in his chest. With Kirk’s history of asthma, we were worried about Cooper. But the doctor assured us that it’s just him getting over his cold and it’s nothing to worry about.
Sleep: With all the Christmas festivities and parties this week, Cooper has been going to bed later and later. This means he’s been getting up more and more during the night. We need to work on getting him back to his regular bed time routine so everyone sleeps better. As far as naps – most days, he just takes one very long nap after lunch.
Social and Activity: We celebrated Cooper’s first Christmas this week. We also went over to may parents friend’s house for dinner on Sunday night so Cooper could meet their granddaughter. And of course New Year’s Eve! We celebrated with a low-key pajama party at a friend’s house. Cooper had lots of fun playing with the other kids before bedtime.
Diet: He’s eating more and more table foods. He always wants a bite of whatever someone else is eating.
Baby Gear Love: Cooper’s new car seat arrived this week (thank you sister)! We installed it and took it for a test drive. He seems to like it much better than his old infant seat. We will wait another month before switching him over though – since we installed the new one to be forward facing.
Milestones: We have a walker!!!
