Weight: 20 lbs 15 oz.
Clothes: Mostly size 12 clothes. Sometimes size 18 shirts.
Health: He’s just getting over his cold from last week and feeling much better!
Sleep: He seems to be still getting up once a night, although the wake-up call is earlier and earlier. It used to be 4, then 3, and now it’s 2am. Ugh. At least he’s only getting up once, though. His naps are going ok – he’s gravitating towards one nap for day but there are still plenty of days that he takes 2 naps.
Social and Activity: This weekend we celebrated Kirk’s 40th birthday with a surprise party! Cooper loved playing with the leftover balloons.
Likes and Dislikes: Likes putting everything in his mouth – especially paper.
He’s really hating getting in his car seat. He stiffens his body and tries to turn around. It can be quite an ordeal. Once he’s in it – he doesn’t seem to mind it as much – at least for 10 minutes or so.
Diet: He loves drinking water out of a cup. But not a sippy cup – a regular glass cup just like a grown-up. I got him a plastic one that looks just like our other cups so he can use it without me worrying about breaking it.
Milestones: No real progress on the walking – in fact for a few days he seemed not very interested in taking any steps. Two new teeth did pop through on the top – for a total of 6.
Weekly Random Moments: This month’s monthly pictures were a bit harder to take. I forgot to take them over the weekend, so I had to take them after work when it was dark outside. I turned on every light in the room and brought in a few lamps – but I still had to end up using a flash which is always challenging with a squirmy kiddo. Plus Cooper loved playing in the blanket that we use as a backdrop – so it was hard to get him to even face the camera.
After the photo session, Coop and daddy had fun playing on the blanket. Kirk was pulling him around the family room and Cooper was laughing so hard!
