Weight: 20 lbs. 8 oz. It seems his weight has been about the same for about a month, but I feel like he’s getting bigger!
Clothes: what size clothes he’s wearing
Health: Everyone in our house was sick this week. Kirk had some sort of bronchial infection, and Cooper and I had the same stuffy/runny nose. We did have to give him some decongestant drops, and put baby rub on his chest to help him sleep. But he handled it like a champ and is almost back to normal today!
Sleep: This week Cooper has been sleeping in a lot! Most days he doesn’t get up until 7. There were even a couple of days that he was getting up at 8:30. Of course, this is messing up his day time naps. Most days he’s just been doing one nap.
Crying: Cooper was sick this week – so there were some times that you could tell he was feeling rotten and he was just extra fussy.
Social and Activity: Cooper had a play date with his neighbor friend. They were really cute together.
Likes and Dislikes: He loves playing with these small balls we have. They are part of one of his toys. Sometimes he uses them for the toy (see the video below). Sometimes he just rolls them around on the floor and chases after them. Sometimes he puts them in the big silver bowl he have in the coffee table.
Diet: He loves apple sauce. LOVES it. He also really likes drinking sparkling water (he gets that from Kirk – I hate carbonation). And he loves eating whole green beans. If you cut them up – he won’t touch them.
Milestones: He is SO close to walking! He can stand on his own for probably 5-10 seconds. And he can take a few tentative steps on his own (maybe 3 or 4). I bet he’s going to be walking all over the place by Christmas.
Weekly Random Moments: Cooper met Santa this weekend. Santa came to our work – and so we stopped by for a visit. I figured Cooper would have some major stranger anxiety, but he LOVED Santa. He was smiling while sitting on his lap, tried playing with his beard, and just generally had a good time.
Cooper also got his Polish passport in the mail this week!
