Weight: 17 lbs 14 oz. So strange – he’s down like half a pound. Hmm. I don’t know what’s going on. We have a doctor’s appointment tomorrow so I’ll get him weighed there.
Clothes: His size 9 clothes is almost too small. He’s mostly wearing 12 or 18 month clothes. He’s in size 3 diapers – but I think we are going to move him up to size 4s soon.
Health: Great! So much better than last week. He’s over his cold and is feeling great.
Sleep: His naps during the day were strange this week. Instead of one and a half to two-hour long naps – he’s been napping for about an hour at the most. This means that some days he’s so tired in the evening that we have to do another nap.
Crying: Much better this week since he’s no longer sick and can breathe again!
Social and Activity: Lots of fun baby time. Since I was at home with Cooper during the days last week and Kirk was out-of-town, I set up lots of play dates. We had a play date in the park with our neighbor and her baby girl (who is a month older than Cooper). They had so much fun playing together! And then we had another play date with our old neighbor and her baby boy (who is no longer a baby since he just turned 1). And then he went back to daycare on Monday and Tuesday. I think the change from spending his days with just me to all the kiddos at daycare was fun for Cooper.
Likes and Dislikes: Likes swinging at the park, playing with bubbles, feeding himself.
Cooper also really loves watching the rain.
Diet: No new food this week – but I did get Cooper some of these food nets at the recommendation of my neighbor. Cooper loves them! I let him chew on some peaches or mangos while I feed him veggies – and he eats everything. I think he really enjoys feeding himself so much more than me feeding him.
Baby Gear Love: The food nets I mentioned above.
Milestones: No progress on the crawling – but he’s getting closer and closer each day! We also stopped bathing him in the kitchen sink and moved him to the big boy tub!
Weekly Random Moments: I survived the 3 days without Kirk. It was really hard – but it was also a lot of fun to have lots of Cooper and mommy time.
