Guess who turned 3 months old this week?
Weight: 13 lbs 4 oz.
Clothes: 3-6 month clothes and size 2 diapers.
Health: He’s still taking Prevacid for his reflux, but other than that he’s a super healthy little guy!
Sleep: Cooper has been sleeping well most nights. He goes down for the night between 8-8:30, usually wakes up sometime between 2:30-3:30 for a feeding. This week, I have also been feeding him at 5:30 in the morning. Since he was having issues with taking a bottle (see below), I wanted him to get 2 feedings in before I leave for work.
He has also been doing pretty good with his naps as well.
One funny thing about his sleeping is how he moves in his crib at night. This is where I put him down versus where he is in the morning.
Crying: SOOO much better. Usually only when he’s hungry or tired.
Social and Activity: Saturday we all went over to babcia and dziadek’s house to celebrate their 39th wedding anniversary. Sunday we did some chores around the house – Cooper helped hang some pictures.
He also started learning to play the piano. He still has to practice a bit more before his first concert.
Likes and Dislikes: The past few weeks he has really started to have more of an interest in books. He loves looking at the pictures and likes being read to.
He also still loves his baths. At the end of bath time, Kirk has been taking out his bath chair and having him float around in the tub. And he loves it!! I think he’s going to really like being in the pool when we go to Hawaii next month.
He still dislikes his swing and bumbo chair.
Diet: I went back to work on Thursday, and Cooper still wasn’t taking the bottle. He refused on Thursday and Friday – and babcia had to bring him to me twice each day to feed. He didn’t take the bottle on Saturday or Sunday either. On Monday – a miracle happened – he took the bottle three times with babcia! Same again on Tuesday and Wednesday!! Yay! We are all so relieved.
Baby Gear Love: These Medala lids for labeling milk that’s going to be stored in the fridge – so much easier than writing the time and date on a post it note!
Milestones: Cooper has been grabbing at toys and other things more and more. He also tries to sit up by himself. He can put weight on his legs when you stand him up. I’m really impressed by his body strength!!
