12 weeks already! The time has been flying so fast.
Weight: 12 lbs 12 oz.
Clothes: Still in his 3-6 month clothes and size 2 diapers.
Health: Cooper has been having a stuffy nose some days – so I think he might have some seasonal allergies just like his dad. Other than that – he’s a healthy boy!
Sleep: He has been doing great the past few nights. He only woke up once in the middle of the night (between 2-3am) most nights. He has also been going down for naps during the day much easier.
Crying: Usually only when he’s hungry and tired. This is such a change from before. I don’t know if it’s the Prevacid helping his reflux, him growing out of his colic, or a combination of both – but it’s great!
Social and Activity: Friday Cooper and I spent the whole day at babcia and dziadek’s house. The weather was beautiful so it was so nice to spend the day outside.
Cooper tried to help do some yard work but fell asleep.
On Saturday, Cooper had his first full day with babcia when we went skiing. He did great! He took lots of good naps and drank from the bottle with no problems.
Likes and Dislikes: Cooper is starting to take more interest in books. He will sit with his dad, while he reads him a book.
Speaking of books – we received a wonderful package from Poland this week. Now Cooper will not only be able to learn to read in English, but in Polish as well! Thank you so much for the wonderful package 🙂
He still loves being carried around and will only tolerate being in the Moby for about 20-30 minutes at a time.
Diet: A combination of breastfeeding and bottles with breast milk. He was taking the bottle wonderfully on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Sunday we tried giving him a bottle but he wouldn’t take it. Same on Monday. We tried the milk (sorry if that grosses anyone out) – and it tasted soapy. I wonder if I didn’t rinse something properly. So we threw away all the bad tasting milk. Since then he hasn’t taken a bottle. So, of course we are very stressed out since I started back to work on Thursday!
Baby Gear Love: Cooper really loves these soft books.
Milestones: Cooper started rolling over from his front to his side. He still has a little bit to go before he can totally roll over to his stomach – but I think he’s well on his way.
