Weight: 11 lbs 6 oz!!
Clothes: Still mostly in 0-3 month clothes – and sometimes wearing some 3-6 month clothes. The 3-6 month shirts are baggy on him – but the 3-6 month pants fit pretty good.
Health: No additional health problems. Cooper is still taking Prevacid for his reflux. I haven’t noticed any blood in his stool. So overall a pretty good week!
Sleep: We made a little progress over the weekend. He did have a couple of good nights of sleep where he only woke up once in the middle of the night – closer to his old sleep patterns. Mostly he does one 5 or 6 hour stretch, and then wakes up every hour and a half. Luckily he falls back asleep pretty easily and doesn’t cry much most nights.
Crying: I feel like he has more and more happy times during the day. In the evening, before bed time, he does have a fussier period. We have been giving him nightly baths to help calm him down and make it easier for him to fall asleep.
Social and Activity: Cooper has been hanging out a lot with his Babcia. They go on walks most days, which gives me a chance to get a little work done. Also, Cooper’s grandma and grandpa from Canada arrived on Tuesday night for a visit.
Likes and Dislikes: He loves being naked and peeing on you when you change his diaper. Or peeing on you when you are getting him ready for a bath. Or peeing on you when he is naked on his activity mat. He just loves peeing on everyone and everything.
We are also trying to read to him more and more – but he usually only lasts a few pages.
Diet: Still only breastfeeding. He does get an occasional bottle of milk that I pumped. I am still not eating any dairy and I think it has helped. There is no blood in his stool, his diaper rash is gone, and I think he’s in a much better mood overall – so I think it’s working!
Baby Gear Love: Cooper hasn’t been good about sleeping in the pack n play, and we think it’s because it’s kind of hard. So we borrowed a pack n play mattress from a friend to see if it helps him. So far so good.
Milestones: He’s getting better and better at lifting his head during tummy time. And I feel him putting weight on his legs when I stand him upright. He is so strong – it amazes me!
