Yesterday I hit 16 weeks. Baby Taylor is growing fast – this he/she is approximately 5 inches long and is the size of a turnip. I haven’t been able to feel any movement yet – but I’m sure it’s coming soon!
Overall I have been feeling good. Most days my stomach doesn’t feel queasy. I’m hungry most of the time – I would be happy munching all day long. I’m also finding it harder and harder to get dressed in the morning (the constant snacking isn’t helping this LOL). I have been wearing more dresses than pants because most of my pants are starting to get too tight. I did get a BeBand this week at the recommendation of my friend Hannah and OMG I am in love! I can wear some of those pants that have been too tight to zip up.
I really need to remember to sit down and relax more, especially with these renovations going on. I am not good at being able to relax when I know that there are things to be done, but I really notice that I can easily overdo it. Overdoing it causes me to be really tired and not feel so great the next day.
I have been continuing with my gym workouts too. I have cut back on the heaviness of weights I lift, slowed down the intensity on the cardio I normally do, and learned the modifications that I need to make in Pilates class. I really feel (and my doctor strongly agrees) that continued exercise throughout pregnancy is going to help me feel my best and hopefully make labor a tiny bit easier.
You can see a sneak peek of the finished floors in this picture. I promise to take lots of pictures of the floors and kitchen very soon!
