Kirk and I flew out to San Francisco for a quick weekend to celebrate to my sister’s birthday. He just happened to have to have a meeting out there, and so I tagged along.
It was just a quick 1 1/2 day trip, but we managed to get in a few sights as well as a couple awesome meals. For D’s birthday dinner, we ate at the AMAZING Gary Danko (http://www.garydanko.com/). I had never eaten at a Michelin Star Rated restaurant before, and it did not disappoint. It was such an experience. The service was absolutely perfect and the food was even better.
We also walked down to the Ferry Plaza for some macarons from Miette (I am slightly addicted to pistachio macarons and try to feed that addiction whenever possible). I love walking around the Ferry Plaza and seeing all the unique shops and trying all the yummy foods.
Look at these amazing tomatoes! It makes my tomatoes look like rejects.
